T WALMSLEY RELEASES NEW SINGLE 'TOMMYWOOD'
FEBRUARY 14TH – Singer & multi-instrumentalist T WALMSLEY (Temples) releases his new single “Tommywood” which is out now along with the music video. Written & demoed during a stay at budget hotel in Hollywood; the track addresses performance anxiety in the bedroom, self-love & acceptance.
The track is his first single from studio sessions with producer Matthew Marcantonio (Demob Happy). With 80s production techniques and Springsteen style hooks, “Tommywood” draws on country influences, synth pop and his love for great melancholy voices in Chris Rea, Lee Hazlewood and Dire Straits. “Tommywood” was written and recorded by Walmsley with Marcantonio (Demob Happy) on production & mixing. The song is available now to stream on all digital retail platforms.

T Walmsley says about the track: “ED is the last and final taboo subject and it's still rarely spoken about candidly; it usually finds itself where expectation and anxiety come together. Tommywood is about that place of safety you find in solitude; but acknowledging the need of more than physical touch to truly connect with someone.”
